I bought this car in '95 with 56k (unverified) miles on it, put tires and brakes on it, fixed speedo cable, put in a new headliner and drove it daily for about 10 months.
It has been in indoor storage ever since. Previous owner had stored it for 15+ years before. It was registered as a regular car in PA in 1996, and is now registered as antique. I can transfer Antique Tag if you are a PA buyer. Has working key fob electronic alarm system installed in '96, along with auxiliary oil pressure, alt and water temp gauges installed below dashboard.
I got it out of storage in April, 2015. Fresh work includes new whitewalls, 4 new wheel cylinders, rear brake hoses, rebuilt water pump, thermostat, heater hoses, new battery and steering link bushings and tail light lenses.
Very good body- all body mounts are rust free (see photos). Original paint is showing wear, but has a nice patina. Door and window seals are there but old / incomplete. All glass is in great (original) condition.
Rust and dings: Minor crease in right quarter panel. Fender dent over left headlight. Looks like a repair was done (paint) on right rear quarter before I owned it. One typical rust through spot at left A pillar doorsill- other side is fine. Left rear bumper tip is rusted through, but I have a serviceable replacement tip (included) on hand.
Engine has good compression on all 8. Runs well and sounds great. Right side exhaust manifold has been welded to repair a leak. I have a replacement manifold (included) in good condition. Dual Exhausts: Mufflers and resonators are repaired and leak free. Transmission is Hydra-matic 4 speed. Speedo does not work. Fuel sender does not work. Power seat works well, front power windows work, rear windows do not (though they did in '96 - switches might just need contact cleaner). Original suspension bushings are there. Some steering play, but power steering works well. New Bias Ply Whitewalls. Brake drums and pads are in good condition, have plenty of material. Cloth upholstery is torn at rear bench seat tops and outside corners of front seat, but all padding and structure intact. No seatbelts. New rear view mirror glass installed. New OEM matching headliner installed in '95, still in great shape. Clock, Radio works, but needs antenna. Original Power antenna was broken off, but have the missing parts.
Car comes with a high quality full size outdoor 4 season cover, spare tire, and as mentioned above, replacement exhaust manifold, bumper tip as well as OEM reprint shop manual, some vintage dealer literature and other ephemera.
